Microsoft fixes an important Win11 feature: users can listen to Spotify music in focus mode
CTOnews.com May 15, Windows 11 clock app has an ingenious feature that allows users to link to Spotify accounts and play productivity-centric playlists in focus mode. This feature was once called a "game-changing" innovation by Microsoft executive Panos Panay, but it expired for several months because of an expired certificate.
CTOnews.com previously reported that many users reported that when they tried to associate their Spotify account with the Windows clock application, they could only see a blank "Connect to Service" window and could not log in.
Earlier this month, Microsoft admitted that there was a connection problem between Spotify and Windows clock applications. After weeks of waiting, the problem was finally solved. Now users can log in to Spotify normally and connect their accounts to the Windows clock application.
Such problems and errors usually do not need to update the affected applications, but users can still check to see if there are updates in the Microsoft Store.
Focus mode is a great feature for users who want to increase productivity and not be disturbed by other applications. You can turn on focus mode from the clock app or calendar pop-up window.
