Samsung applies for "Shinebolt" and "Flamebolt" trademarks to develop special DRAM for AI supercomputers

CTOnews.com May 16, Samsung Electronics recently submitted an application to South Korea's intellectual property Information Service (KIPRIS) to register the trademarks "Shinebolt" and "Flamebolt" for the DRAM of AI supercomputers.

According to the trademark document, the two trademarks will be used for high-bandwidth DRAM modules for high-performance computing devices, artificial intelligence and supercomputing devices, as well as high-bandwidth DRAM for graphics cards.
