Wemo Mini Smart Plug V2 sets a name limit of 30 characters, but memory buffer errors can be overridden.

However, Belkin has no plans to fix the loophole, saying that Wemo Mini Smart Plug V2 has been on the market for nearly four years and is about to stop support, saying that the fix is of little significance.
