Benefits for live music lovers: Apple Maps and Apple Music app launches music performance exploration function

CTOnews.com, May 16 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Apple's official website today announced the launch of the "Concert Exploration feature" on Apple's Apple Maps and Apple Music apps, which provides users with live music performances recommended by editors and supports browsing directly on maps, making it easier for music lovers to discover and enjoy live music performances.

Both Apple Maps and Apple Music have added features related to live music performances, allowing users to view the best music venues and upcoming performances in major cities around the world on the map. You can also listen to some of the playlists of large-scale tours and learn the behind-the-scenes stories of performance production on Apple Music.

More than 40 guides carefully orchestrated by Apple music editors have been added to Apple's map, covering more than 10 cities in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, including Chicago, Los Angeles, London and Tokyo. These guides introduce the best venues for live music in every city, from the iconic symphony hall in Vienna to cutting-edge electronic music clubs in Brooklyn and Tokyo. Users can browse the information about the upcoming performances in these venues on the map, or they can buy tickets directly.

Apple Music has launched a new Set Lists playlist feature that allows users to listen to live playlists with blockbuster tours, such as Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and other stars. Users can also read behind-the-scenes stories about the production of the performance and feel the artists' enthusiasm and creativity for live music. In addition, users can browse the performance information of artists in their region on Apple Music without missing any of the wonderful live performances. CTOnews.com notes that these features are supported by Apple's Shazam and Bandsintown platforms.

Apple says these features will be launched today.
