The Eagle Eye spin-off series Echo focuses on a new character, Echo, that will appear in Eagle Eye. Echo, originally Maya Lopez, appeared in the Daredevil comic strip, a deaf Native American who can perfectly imitate other people's movements. It is played by new actor Araqua Cox.

The title "Echo" in the comic book has been used as a "rogue" and has many connections with Daredevil and villain Jin. Maya was close to Matt Murdoch, the "Daredevil," and was a lover. Her father died at the hands of Jin Bing, and before his death, he left a bloody handprint on her face, which is why she later painted a handprint on her face. But Kim deceived her with lies, adopted her and trained her to be a killer.
