CTOnews.com, May 20, Microsoft recently announced the launch of a public preview of Code Optimizations, which uses the capabilities of AI to help developers improve the performance of .NET applications and cloud services.

Code Optimizations is now integrated into Azure Application Insights, which is used to track and analyze data from .NET applications and services and to provide insights and suggestions on how to address performance issues.

Microsoft says Code Optimizations has been trained in thousands of tracking parameters collected by Microsoft's services to learn the patterns and cases of Microsoft performance engineers and apply them to .NET applications and services.

Code Optimizations can identify and resolve a variety of performance issues such as incorrect API usage, unnecessary allocation, exceptions, and concurrency.
