"apart from the different economic environment, the current challenges have made it clear that the consumer search business is not sustainable." He also said that Neeva now has only 50 full-time employees, which is far from enough for Neeva to compete with the search business of Internet giants such as Microsoft or Google.

Neeva is an Internet technology company based in Mountain View, Calif., founded by Sridhar Ramaswamy, a former head of Google's advertising business. The team also includes Udi Manber, the former head of Google's search business, and Darin Fisher, the inventor of Chrome.
