CTOnews.com, May 23, Microsoft announced today at its annual Build developer conference that it will use the same open standards as OpenAI to develop plug-ins for its Bing chat and Copilot platform. This means that these plug-ins will be able to communicate between Bing chat, Copilot platform and OpenAI's chatbot ChatGPT.

This is another important move to deepen cooperation between Microsoft and OpenAI. Earlier this year, Microsoft expanded its partnership with OpenAI with a "multibillion-dollar" investment and launched Bing chat based on OpenAI's GPT-4 technology a few weeks later.
