CTOnews.com, May 25 (Xinhua)-- the upcoming Firefox 115 web browser will bring interesting changes to Linux users who will be more productive when completing their daily tasks.

The new Firefox 115 feature will allow you to middle-click on a new label button to paste the contents of the clipboard, whether in URL or plain text. Therefore, clicking the New label button in the middle mouse button will open anything in the clipboard, no matter where the content is copied from, which means it can come from any of your applications, and the copied text will open as expected using your default search provider.

Now, in the current Firefox browser version, clicking the "New Tab" button with the middle mouse button opens a new tab, just like when you left-click it, which is already available on Chrome / Chromium web browsers.

This feature will be implemented in the Firefox 115browser version and is currently being pushed to Nightly (CTOnews.com alpha status) channel users.

This feature will be enabled by default in Firefox 115, and users can turn it off by setting the browser.tabs.searchclipboardfor.middleclick option in about:config from true to false.

Firefox 115browser will enter the Beta channel in a "more stable" form on June 5, 2023, the day before the next major version of Firefox 114is released, Firefox 114will bring improved DNS over HTTPS functionality, Cookie Banner reduction and other changes.
