According to Weibo blogger @ Digital chat site, Snapdragon 8 + Gen 2 chip is currently being tested by Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Meizu, OPPO and iQOO. IQOO 11s, which is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2023, will carry Snapdragon 8 + Gen 2 chip. Xiaomi's new Fold 3 folding screen is also exposed to use this new chip; OPPO's realme GT Neo6 and one plus Ace 2 Pro are also expected to use Snapdragon 8 + Gen 2 chip.

The blogger also said that the high-frequency version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, previously used in Samsung's Galaxy S23 series phones, will lose its monopoly, and several Chinese smartphone brands, including Asustek, one plus, Red Devils and Xiaomi, will acquire the upgraded chip in the second half of this year.
