CTOnews.com, May 29 (Xinhua)-- during this year's Computex 2023 Taipei computer Show, SSD master chipmaker Trunk Electronics launched PS5031-E31T, a low-power PCIe 5.0 DRAM SSD-free master chip based on 7nm technology.

▲ source: according to group electronics, the highest read and write performance of SSD with E31T master will reach 10.5GB/s, which is a PCIe 5.0SSD storage scheme with both performance and power consumption.

CTOnews.com also noted that Groupon has also released a 12nm-based PCIe 4.0 DRAM SSD-free master PS5027-E27T with a maximum read speed of 7400 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 6400 MB/s. Groupon believes that these two master controls will meet the needs of customers with different PC OEM partners.

Pan Jiancheng, CEO of Groupon, pointed out that the new master chip of Groupon has been sent to customers and ready for mass production, and it is expected that SSD products with the new master of Groupon will be on the market as soon as the second half of this year.
