Jonghwan Kim, head of DRAM development at Hynix, said 1bnm will be adopted by products such as LPDDR5T and HBM3E in the first half of 2024.

Dimitrios Ziakas, vice president of technology for Intel memory and IO, said: Intel has been working with the memory industry to ensure compatibility on Intel Xeon extensible platforms in DDR5; Hynix 1bnm is one of the first generation products to target the next generation of Intel Xeon extensible platforms and Intel data center certified memory programs.
