Canalys report: Q1 shipments in US PC market plummeted 28% in 2023

CTOnews.com, May 30, according to the latest report from market analyst Canalys, shipments of US personal computers (PC) (including desktops, notebooks and workstations) fell 28% year-on-year to 14 million units in the first quarter of 2023.

Compared with personal computers (PC), the US tablet market was relatively stable in the first quarter of 2023, with Apple's iPad accounting for 50 per cent of the market. On the strength of Apple's iPad, shipments fell just 7 per cent to 10.8 million units in the quarter.
