CTOnews.com May 30, Tesla recently released an update of FSD Beta V11.4.2 to employees and customers, fixing many BUG in previous versions and more than doubling the visual range of the B-pillar camera.

Foreign YouTube channel anchor Chuck Cook found that after installing FSD Beta V11.4.2, the visual range of the B-pillar camera expanded from 262ft (80m) to 623ft (190m).

The FSD update further extends the visual range, extending the response time of the FSD system to 7-8 seconds if the vehicle is traveling at a speed of 50-60 mph to 400-600ft. CTOnews.com Note: this means that FSD can detect the road information ahead earlier and give drivers more time to respond.
