Senior Vice President of Qualcomm: Qualcomm is transitioning to Smart Edge Computing

Tuyuan Pixabay according to Qualcomm's latest results, Qualcomm's second-quarter adjusted revenue of $9.27 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 65.632 billion yuan), of which mobile phone-related sales fell 17% to $6.1 billion; car-related revenue rose 20% to 447 million; and connected equipment-related sales were in line with expectations of $1.39 billion.
In the long run, Qualcomm hopes to reduce its reliance on smartphones by selling more chips for cars, networks, computing and wearables. Amon said it is considering accelerating diversified acquisitions.
Before today's trading, Qualcomm was up about 2.78%, with a market capitalization of more than $123 billion (currently about 870.84 billion yuan).
