CTOnews.com, May 30 (Xinhua) Xiaomi has extended the warranty period of five smartphones in India, namely, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Xiaomi 11 Ultra and Poco X3 Pro, and owners of these devices will be covered by a two-year warranty from the date of activation.

If Xiaomi Indian users have purchased any of these devices in the past two years and are currently experiencing problems related to the camera or motherboard, Xiaomi will be responsible for resolving these problems under the warranty terms.

To enjoy the extension policy, customers must provide an invoice for the purchase of the phone at the nearest Xiaomi service center. Unless Xiaomi believes that the problem is beyond the scope of the warranty, repair or replacement services will be provided free of charge within the extended warranty. CTOnews.com warned that root phones, tampered or physically damaged phones are not eligible for extended coverage.

Take the Poco X3 Pro phone as an example, which previously had an one-year warranty and a half-year extended warranty. If you have to pay for maintenance, the 8+128GB motherboard costs 10999 Indian rupees, the 6+128GB version costs 9999 Indian rupees, the display is 5599 Indian rupees, and the battery costs 1999 Indian rupees.
