Developer business and sales grew by 27% between 2019 and 2020. it grew by 27% between 2021 and 2021, and 29% between 2021 and 2022.

In 2022, 23% of the new small and medium-sized developers worldwide came from China.

App Store's business engine provides a global distribution platform for more than 36 million Apple registered developers around the world, supporting more than 195 local payment methods and 44 currencies in more than 175 stores.

In 2022, App Store attracted an average of more than 650 million visitors a week. In 2022, users downloaded an average of 747 million new App and 1.5 billion new App downloads per week.

In 2022, sales of iOS travel App soared 84 per cent, while those of ride-hailing App soared 45 per cent.
