Apple's first fanless notebook ended with news that the original 12-inch MacBook was listed as an outdated product this month

CTOnews.com, June 2 (Xinhua)-- Apple plans to list the original 12-inch MacBook as an "outdated product" on June 30, according to an internal memo obtained by foreign technology media MacRumors.

CTOnews.com encloses Apple's definition of "obsolete product" as follows:

Obsolete products refer to products that have been sold for more than 5 years but less than 7 years since the date when Apple stopped selling.

Devices classified as "obsolete products" can no longer be repaired and serviced through Apple Store retail stores and Apple authorized service providers because Apple officially no longer provides relevant parts or seeks after-sales help.

In March 2015, Apple launched the 12-inch MacBook with a lightweight design and weighs just two pounds. It is also Apple's first fanless laptop, starting at $1299 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 9236 yuan).

Standard specifications for the original models include 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M processors, integrated Intel graphics cards, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.
