According to Weibo blogger @ Digital chat site, "Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be released early to the end of October this year, and the new phone will be unveiled in November. At present, the first batch of models include Xiaomi 14 series, vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, one plus 12, realme GT5 and so on."

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip (SM8650) will introduce the core configuration of "1 # 5 # 2", which is different from the "1 # 2 # 2 # 3" setting of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which indicates that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 may bring a stronger performance core and higher frequency. TSMC N4P process is used to configure Cortex-X4 super-large core, 5 A720 cores, 2 A520 cores, Adreno 750GPU.

According to Ice Universe, the Adreno 750GPU of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will have a "significant improvement" in performance and will be equipped with 10MB Tier 3 cache, compared with the previous 8MB Tier 3 cache.

Previously, Xiaomi 14 series mobile phones have appeared in the IMEI database, of which the national model of Xiaomi 14 mobile phone is 23127PNOCC, and the global version is 23127pNOCG; the national model of Xiaomi 14 Pro mobile phone is 23116PN5BC, and the global version is 23116PN5BG. The figures suggest that Xiaomi 14 series mobile phones are expected to be released in China in November or December 2023.
