The headlights of the new Model 3 are consistent with the previously exposed photos, with a more stylish and dynamic design, which is significantly different from the existing Model 3. The rear lights have also changed, and the turn lights have changed from horizontal to vertical. The rear bumper also adds a diffuser similar to the Model S, X and Y, which accelerates the low-pressure air at the bottom of the car and guides it to the rear, thus increasing the downforce at high speed and helping to improve handling, so it is possible that the new Model 3 will introduce a more performance-oriented model.

In addition to the appearance changes, the new Model 3 will also be equipped with the latest hardware 4.0 (HW4) system, including an upgraded camera. HW4 system has been applied to Model S, X and Y, which can provide higher autopilot performance and safety.
