CTOnews.com, June 7, in the latest Game Mess Mornings podcast, Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb said that Square Enix is developing a remake game called final Fantasy IX.

"I have a piece of news here that the final Fantasy IX game is in the process of being remade and has entered the development stage," Grubb said. Grubb did not mention the exact time of release or other information.

In the ResetEra forum, senior netizen "Im A Hero Too" also revealed that Square Enix is developing a "final Fantasy IX" remake game, saying that the game looks good and uses the traditional combat mode.

CTOnews.com Note: final Fantasy IX made its debut on the original PlayStation in July 2000 (released in Japan), with an average of 94 out of 100. Between 2016 and 2019, the game also launched on Android,iOS,PC (Steam), PS4,Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.
