CTOnews.com reported on June 8 that an unconfirmed report from Poland said that the local branch of vivo would withdraw from the area. GSMOnline.pl then received a statement from vivo:

"in consultation with local representatives, continuous market analysis and selection of the right business strategy is critical to the vivo brand. We regret to inform you that the brand's authorized distributors in Poland have decided to stop operations. Nevertheless, our customers can still rely on vivo's strong products, comprehensive customer support and continuous software updates."

At present, vivo Polish official website (CTOnews.com Note: vivo.com/pl) is still in operation, and retailers will continue to sell its mobile phones. It is not clear how long this will last, which could mean that the new vivo model will not be launched in Poland.

In contrast, OPPO denied withdrawing from the Polish market, and the global version of the Reno10 series of phones was confirmed to be released in July.

Vivo, like OPPO, recently shut down its website in Germany because of a patent battle with Nokia. The Dutch branch of vivo is also offline, but OPPO continues. Despite reports that trouble is imminent, the French websites of the two brands are still in operation.
