CTOnews.com, June 15 (Xinhua) Rear Admiral Habib Bora Sayari, Iran's deputy military coordinator and former navy commander, announced last week that he had launched his first "quantum processor" and demonstrated a development motherboard suitable for the processor.

In a speech at Norshahr Naval and Maritime University, Major General Sayari demonstrated Iran's new breakthrough in quantum computing, which can use quantum computing to counteract navigation interference and identify surface ships.

The development motherboard shown is from Diligent in the United States, which is not equipped with a quantum processor, but a FPGA processor with two Arm Cortex-A9 cores and DDR3 memory of on-board 256MB / 512MB.
