CTOnews.com, June 15, CTOnews.com reported earlier that Microsoft officials said that some Win10 and Win11 users may have BUG that cannot copy, save and import files when using Win32 applications, especially when using network sharing.

Microsoft updated Windows Health Dashboard on May 27, saying that the failure was intermittent and mainly affected applications that called CopyFile API on Win10 and Win11 platforms, namely "large address aware (large address aware)" Windows applications.

▲ source Microsoft claims that users of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel may also experience replication and storage problems, but only when using the 32-bit version. In this case, the affected user will see the document not saved error message.

Microsoft says Windows devices are at a higher risk of being affected by this particular issue when using specific commercial or enterprise security software with "extended file attributes". Users using Windows devices in personal or unmanaged business environments are less likely to encounter this problem.

Microsoft has addressed this BUG with the latest cumulative update to KB5027231 Windows 11, which also fixes the same BUG for Windows 10 through a known issue rollback (KIR).
