CTOnews.com news on June 15, according to the German technology media Winfuture reported, to share Sony's upcoming WF-1000XM5 headphones related information. A single headset weighs 5.9 grams, 1.4 grams lighter than the previous generation, and 20% less weight.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones have lost weight but are equipped with an 8.4mm drive unit, Dynamic Driver X, which is 40% larger than the previous generation.

Sony says the new driver unit in the WF-1000XM5 provides "richer human voices" and better sound detail output, as well as support for HiRes Audio and DSEE Extreme.

Each headset is equipped with three microphones to detect ambient noise more accurately, clean up background noise and provide clearer call quality. Sony WF-1000XM5 integrates bone conduction sensors and precise voice pickup technology to perfectly capture the wearer's voice during a call, even in a noisy environment.

The charging box of the new ANC headset is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 500mAh, extending the total playback time of the headset to 24 hours.
