CTOnews.com June 15 news, Intel has now launched a new generation of Xeon Wmai 2400 and Wmai 3400 series workstation processors, supporting the motherboard W790. Now, ASRock's server brand Yongshi has launched the W790 motherboard, using a relatively small Deep Micro-ATX board.

According to reports, this series of motherboards are equipped with the Intel W790 chipset and support the Xeqiang Wmai 2400 and Wmai 3400 series CPU. The motherboard has 8 DDR5 DIMM slots and supports four channels.

In terms of interface, the motherboard supports four PCIe5.0 x16 interfaces, one M.2 PCIe 4.0SSD slot, eight SATA interfaces, one 2.5G network port and one 1G network port. In addition, this motherboard also has two OCuLink ports.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Asustek first launched the consumer-side Pro WS W790E SAGE motherboard, which supports the latest Xeon processor and four-channel memory, and the current price is 8999 yuan.
