Apple iOS 17 allows iPhone to activate Apple Watch ringtone to reverse look up the watch

CTOnews.com June 16 news, Apple Watch has been able to find the iPhone function, users can click on the dial phone icon (or long press) to activate the iPhone ringtone, so as to find nearby iPhone phones.

In the latest iOS 17 beta version, Apple also added a reverse version of this feature to the iPhone, allowing you to ping the iPhone to the Apple Watch and find nearby watches through the Apple Watch's ringtone.

CTOnews.com partners can find this control center tile feature in iOS 17, which is currently turned off by default:

open the Settings

Click Control Center

Swipe down and tap the + button next to Ping My Watch

Swipe down from the top right corner (or the bottom of the phone with the Home button) to open the Control Center

Click on the new Ping My Watch button

This feature is only suitable for close range cases, if the iPhone can not connect to the Apple Watch Bluetooth, then it is more reliable through the regular remote search function.
