AMD releases 2 adrenaline-driven updates to add support for "F1 23" games

CTOnews.com Note: the Adrenalin Edition 22.40.57.06 driver update applies only to the Radeon RX 7600 series GPU; and Adrenalin Edition 23.10.01.37 to all other desktop and laptop Radeon GPU.

Both driver updates add support for EA's new racing game "F1 23". The difference is that there are different known problems:

Adrenalin Edition 22.40.57.06 known problem: some virtual reality games or applications may experience poor performance and occasional stutter conditions.

Intermittent application crashes or minor corruption may occur when using Blender.

Adrenalin Edition 23.10.01.37 known problem: high power consumption can also occur when idle when using a selected high-resolution and high refresh rate display on the Radeon RX 7000 series GPU.

Some virtual reality games or applications may encounter poor performance and occasional stutter situations.

Some AMD graphics cards, such as Radeon RX 5700 XT, may crash intermittently when running RuneScape ™.

Application crashes or driver timeout issues may occur when playing AV1 video content using DaVinci Resolve Studio.

You may experience intermittent damage when you switch windows when running the Renwang 2 game on some AMD graphics products, such as Radeon RX 6800 XT.
