Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens South China Daniel Wu and Xiao Zhan for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com June 18 news, HotHardware reported that the ROG Ally handset just launched by Asustek can now upgrade 319 firmware through MyASUS software, but the update will degrade the game performance.

It is said that the latest 319 firmware can improve the game performance of the handset at 9W power consumption, but tests have found that it is actually worse than not updated, and to make matters worse, the 15W and 25W performance release of the new firmware has also been reduced.

Asustek official @ Whiston Gordon said the company was aware of the problem and advised users not to update it for the time being.

Of course, players who have updated the firmware will have to wait for Asustek to do an emergency update or rewind the version (CTOnews.com Note: you can manually downgrade BIOS using the ASUS EZ Flash tool), but for some users the process can be complicated.
