CTOnews.com, June 19, Tesla cut the prices of the Model S and Model X models in stock in the US market in order to improve sales this quarter, and gave away three years of free supercharging service.

Tesla recently cut the prices of both the Model X and Model S by $8000 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 57040 yuan) and offered three years of free supercharging to customers who bought cars before June 30.

According to Tesla's website, these measures mean that customers can now buy the 2023 Tesla Model S for about $83000, with a discount of $7500, while Model X costs about $93000, down from $102240 and a discount of $7810.

The discount was originally introduced to attract owners of the old Model S to buy new cars, but has since been extended to all new orders.

It is reported that Tesla's Model S inventory has more than doubled in the past three weeks, which may be one of the reasons why Tesla has adopted greater incentives. Musk, CEO of Tesla, has said that Tesla will not discount as frequently as other automakers do in pursuit of sales, but Tesla also seems to have to make some compromises at the end of the quarter.

In addition to the price cuts for Model S and Model X, Tesla also offers three months of free supercharging for Model 3 owners delivered by the end of June. For those consumers who want to buy Tesla models or products, they can earn Tesla points by using the recommendation code, which can be exchanged for cyber truck raffle tickets, Tesla accessories, free super charging mileage and other awards.
