CTOnews.com, June 19-A few days ago, a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user (@ CoconutShawarma) tweeted that strange green and pink lines began to appear on his screen after installing a new software update. Now the user has confirmed that Samsung has replaced the screen of the affected Galaxy Note 20 Ultra for free, even though the phone has expired its warranty.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has vertical green and pink lines on the screen after installing the June 2023 security update, and the problem is said to have occurred in India. This is not the first time Samsung phones have experienced such a problem, as several Samsung smartphone users have reported that their screens automatically show green and pink lines. However, Samsung has not made an official statement on the issue. CTOnews.com notes that other brands of phones that use Samsung's OLED screen have had the same problem.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user has now confirmed that Samsung has replaced his phone's OLED screen and even battery for free, although the device is out of warranty, possibly because Samsung did not test the software adequately or there is a problem with the screen itself.

If this is due to a defective software or display panel, then Sanxing needs to solve the problem globally and provide the same free replacement service for all Galaxy users who encounter this problem.
