Meta spokesman Iska Saric confirmed that Zuckerberg's post on Instagram was not a joke.

Musk has been taunting Zuckerberg on Twitter with witticisms such as "Zuck my 👅" after it emerged that Meta was about to launch a Twitter competition. At Meta's internal staff meeting last week, Chris Cox, the company's chief product officer, told employees that the company thought the creator wanted a Twitter version of "smart operation."
