CTOnews.com June 22, according to foreign technology media Patently Apple reported that Apple recently obtained a new patent in the European market, showing a variety of off-screen Face ID solutions.

Apple explained in its patent that electronic devices represented by the iPhone can contain multiple sensors in multiple non-pixel areas (non-pixel regions).

Each non-pixel area removes thin-film transistors and other display components, allowing light to pass through, increasing the transmittance of the screen to the sensor.

CTOnews.com attached the patented design sketch, an off-screen Face ID solution designed by Apple from 18A to 18F, setting different non-pixel areas.

Apple says in its patent that it can hide the camera in a specific area of the screen, and in the 18F description, non-pixel areas can cover the entire screen.
