CTOnews.com June 23 news, Microsoft officially released Win11 Moment 3 update in May this year, but only users manually update to upgrade. According to Windows Latest, Microsoft plans to force users to enable Moment 3 on Patch Tuesday in July.

Microsoft rolled out an optional update a few days ago that will enable Moment 3 features by default.

For those unfamiliar with Moment updates, CTOnews.com briefly introduces: Win11's update strategy is different from Win 10, its goal is to continuously provide users with "creative updates," and this frequent feature update is called "Moment" update inside Microsoft, which is different from ordinary annual updates and security preview updates.

The first "Moment" update for Windows 11 22H2 brought new features, such as tabs/tabs for File Explorer, suggested actions for Edge and other apps, and more useful features; this was followed by more convenient system tray features in Moment 2, such as drag and drop support.

In "Moment 3," Microsoft brings a different kind of notification, which now lets you quickly copy authentication (2FA) codes without having to open incoming messages, emails, or other types of notifications.
