Urus Lamborghini SUV will switch to plug-in hybrid power in 2024 and be fully electrified in 2029

CTOnews.com June 26 news, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann recently told foreign media Autocar that the Lamborghini SUV Urus will launch a plug-in hybrid version in 2024 to replace the current model with V8 engine, and the 2029 replacement model will be completely replaced by the pure electric version.

The Lamborghini Urus plug-in hybrid model will be equipped with a 4.0T V8 twin turbocharged engine and motor plug-in system with a combined power of 603kW and a pure electric range of about 500km.

CTOnews.com notes that the Urus plug-in is not the first Lamborghini hybrid, and on March 30, Lamborghini unveiled its new supercar, the Revuelto, which is also the successor to Aventador.

The car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 6.5L V12 naturally aspirated engine and three drive motors with a combined power of 1015 horsepower and a zero acceleration time of 2.5s. It is the first Lamborghini supercar with a hybrid system.
