CTOnews.com, June 26, according to official news, the delivery ceremony of the first prototype of the Egyptian satellite aid project II was held on June 25 at the Egyptian Satellite Assembly Integrated Test Center (AITC) in New Cairo, Egypt.

Officials said that the two initial stars (CTOnews.com note: one electrical star and one mechanical thermal control star) jointly designed and developed by the two countries have successfully completed various tests, final assembly, and environmental tests carried out at the Egyptian Satellite Assembly Integrated Test Center (AITC), and have the technical conditions for delivery to Egypt.

According to reports, the Egyptian-2 satellite aid project is China's first aerospace international cooperation project to ship the initial sample whole-star products abroad and make use of overseas Egyptian facilities to carry out whole-star satellite assembly, integration, testing, and environmental tests. and deliver the initial satellite products abroad.

Through the implementation of this project, Egypt will become the first country in Africa and the Arab region to have the integrated testing capability of satellite assembly, which will greatly promote the development of Egypt's space industry.
