China Mobile / Unicom / Telecom joins the Open Gateway initiative to provide universal API for developers around the world

CTOnews.com June 26, on the eve of the opening of MWC Shanghai, GSMA (Global Association for Mobile Communications) held a press conference in Shanghai on June 25 to formally announce that China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom have joined the GSMA Open Gateway initiative.
According to GSMA, GSMA Open Gateway is a "universal network application programming interface (API) framework" designed to provide developers with "universal access to operators' networks". The framework is supported by "nearly 30 mobile operators around the world" and "accounts for about 60% of global mobile connections".
The 2023 MWC Shanghai Expo will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from June 28 to 30, when nearly 300 exhibitors and sponsors will participate.
The confirmed exhibitors include: China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Huawei, ZTE, Qualcomm, Ericsson, Ziguang Xinhua 3, Tide Group, Strange, Changfei Optical Fiber, AsiaInfo Technology, Lenovo, Jingxin Communications, Hao Whale Technology, Nreal, AMD-Xilinx, Rhode and Schwartz, Amis Osram, Italian and French Semiconductors, Core Qiyuan, AAC Meige Intelligence, Ruijie Network, Bai Caibang, Deloitte, Seagate Technology, Sony, Meizu, etc.
