CTOnews.com June 28, BMW recently released a preview chart of the new M5Touring in Instagram. This means that after a lapse of 13 years, the car has come back to life to meet with consumers.

The main purpose of this group of previews is to show the side and tail contours of M5 Touring. CTOnews.com sees that the new M5 Touring is still in the shape of a travel car, equipped with black highlight wheels, rear spoiler and four exhaust pipes.

After BMW stopped production of the M5 E61 station wagon with V10 naturally aspirated engine in 2010, it took 12 years for BMW to launch the M3 Touring station wagon, bringing the M Touring back to market. But the car has not been well received in the US market because US consumers prefer larger models. Therefore, the M5 Touring, which will be released in 2024, may be more popular with American consumers than the M3 Touring.

According to reports, BMW's new M5 Touring will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of 4.4T V8 twin-turbocharged engine and motor, which is homologous to BMW XM, with a combined maximum power of more than 700hp.
