Thank you, CTOnews.com netizen Gin Ke, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com, June 29 (Xinhua)-- Apple today released the fourth public beta version of iOS / iPadOS 16.6, macOS Ventura 13.5 and watchOS 9.6, just one day after the previous release of the fourth developer beta.

Apple's current development focus has been on iOS / iPadOS 17 and macOS 14, so this public beta version does not introduce many new features, mainly on repairing BUG, improving performance and improving background stability.

CTOnews.com Note: iOS / iPadOS 16.6 update range is small, users who have signed up for Apple's free Beta test program can open the "Settings" application, go to "General", select "Software Update", click "beta update", and then select the iOS 16 open beta option to enable the beta.

Apple is slowing down updates to iOS / iPadOS 16.6 and macOS Ventura 13.5, which should be the last version of the iOS 16 branch before Apple officially releases iOS 17 in September.
