The founder of Oculus supports the solution of external battery for Apple's Vision Pro head.
CTOnews.com, June 29 (Xinhua) Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey (also known as Palmer Paget) has praised Apple's Vision Pro in public for many times.
When Lackey appeared on a podcast, he said that during his time at the helm of Oculus, he had been advocating the use of external batteries like Apple's Vision Pro head Show.
"what needs to be clear is that this [external battery] is the right way to promote the head display," Lackey said in an interview. I always advocated this when I was at Oculus, but unfortunately I lost the subsequent power struggle.
Lackey says Oculus now advocates the integration of all resources, including batteries, which will undoubtedly affect the wearing experience.
CTOnews.com translated part of his interview as follows: "after Apple launched the Vision Pro, I retweeted a tweet released in 2015. I said that the VR head must be what everyone wants before it becomes a device that everyone can afford to buy, and Apple is moving forward in this way."
