Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card power test: game power consumption 126W, lower than RTX 3050
CTOnews.com June 29, Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card will go on sale tonight, priced at 2399 yuan. According to the test of TechPowerUp, the game power consumption of this series of graphics cards is only 126W.
As shown in the figure above, the foreign media tested the MSI RTX 4060 non-OC model with an idle power consumption of 11W and a multi-display power consumption of 17W.
RTX 4060 consumes 17W for video playback and 126W for games, which is lower than the old GTX 1660 Super.
In addition, the Asustek RTX 4060 DUAL OC model tested by foreign media consumes 131W, which is also lower than the previous generation RTX 3050. Therefore, foreign media recommend a minimum wattage power supply of 300W for this graphics card.
The parameters of CTOnews.com finishing RTX 4060 graphics card are as follows:
The RTX 4060 uses a 3072 CUDA core, accelerates up to 2.46GHz, and is equipped with 8GB 128bit video memory. The specification information of the RTX 4060 desktop graphics card is basically the same as that of the mobile end, with a power consumption of 115W, an average game power consumption of only 110W and an idle power consumption of 7W, which is significantly lower than that of the previous generation.
According to Nvidia's official website, the performance of RTX 4060 graphics cards is 1.7 times that of RTX 3060 after turning on the frame generation technology unique to RTX 40 series graphics cards, and 1.2 times that of RTX 3060 when frame generation technology is turned off.
