CTOnews.com, July 1 (Xinhua)-- the General Office of the Beijing Municipal people's Government recently issued the Beijing Robotics Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan (2023-2025), which sets goals and action rules for the development of subdivided industries such as humanoid robots, and strengthens the artificial intelligence model to "support the key capabilities of robots."

The revenue of Beijing's robot core industry is expected to reach more than 30 billion yuan, which will create a leading domestic and international advanced robot industry cluster.
The Action Plan also said that relevant departments will support enterprises to develop and improve general artificial intelligence models of robots, mine application scene resources, provide diversified scene data support for model pre-training, and improve the versatility and practicability of the model.

From 2017 to 2022, China added 31800, 44300, 52100, 81100, 126700 and 135700 robot-related enterprises respectively, an increase of 31.46%, 39.16%, 17.66%, 55.60%, 56.35% and 7.07% respectively over the same period last year, with the development of the AI model and the introduction of new policies for related industries. It is expected to further promote the common development of AI large model and robot fusion.
