CTOnews.com, July 2 (Xinhua) according to Samsung's usual practice, Samsung will bring new folding screen products Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, as well as some smart wearable devices around August this year. In addition, it was reported earlier this year that Samsung will launch the second-generation Galaxy SmartTag series in the third quarter of 2023.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 devices are now on the Bluetooth SIG certification list and are expected to be announced in the near future. Certification information indicates that this new product will support Bluetooth 5.3.

Judging from previous revelations, the new Galaxy SmartTag has better overall battery life than the product released in 2021, optimizes and upgrades in connection stability and range, and is expected to improve wireless connection range, buzzer volume and enhanced security measures to prevent unauthorized tracking.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is likely to make its debut alongside Samsung's next-generation wearable devices, including Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Watch 6. In addition, Samsung is likely to launch its next generation of folding screen smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Samsung's Galaxy SmartTag series was launched in January 2021, in which the regular version of the Galaxy SmartTag uses Bluetooth technology to connect to the phone and sells for $29.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 218), while the Galaxy SmartTag+ adds the more accurate UWB ultra-wideband technology for $39.99.
