Former Paradise game producers: "F-zero" and "Star Firefox" didn't follow up because of lack of funds and manpower.

CTOnews.com, July 5, Nintendo released many classic games in the early days, but these IP have no follow-up at the moment.

In a recent interview with foreign media VGC, former Paradise game producer Koya Komura, who was in charge of the development of works such as Star Firefox and the Legend of Zelda: the Mask of Mezura, said that the reason for Nintendo to restart the classic game IP was development costs and resources.

The poster of ▲ 's "Star Firefox" game, which has a loyal fan base, Tu Yuan Nintendo said when asked why "F-zero" and "Star Firefox" do not have a sequel today, Toshimura said:

Nintendo is paying more attention to IP, a game called Mario Racing, so for F-zero and Interstellar Firefox, there are no production plans for the time being, considering the high cost of theme conflict and restart.

In addition to cost, resources are also a big problem. Due to human resource constraints, it is difficult to do everything with Nintendo's internal employees alone. Nintendo gives priority to popular IP and is not willing to outsource, so it is easy to hide an unpopular IP rather than "smash word of mouth" to make a game work, but it takes a lot of work to make something satisfying for players.

Komura also claimed that "F-zero" and "Star Firefox" two games IP, their ideas are mainly from the ace designer Shigeru Miyamoto, so Nintendo is still quite concerned about these two games, not that Nintendo has no feelings for them.

Given that Nintendo's culture is more heritage-oriented and that they retain a lot of classic IP, CTOnews.com 's friends are likely to see a new "F-zero" and "Interstellar Firefox" in the future, but it will still take some time.
