Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Huanan Wu Yanzu, OC_Formula for clue delivery! CTOnews.com July 5 news, message source @momomo_us recently released a tweet showing Intel Xeon (Xeon) processor called Granite Rapids-SP, as well as the new LGA 4710 socket.

The image shows two LGA 4710 sockets, the smaller one close to the Granite Rapids-AP CPU and the LGA 7529 socket, while the larger socket will also be compatible with Intel's future Xeon processor codenamed "Sierra Forest."

There is speculation that the smaller LGA 4710 socket may serve the consumer/workstation family- Xeon WS, which cannot be confirmed at this time.

Intel is evaluating two different integrated heat sink (IHS) designs for the LGA 4710 processor, one of which is similar to AMD's AM5 CPU.

CTOnews.com Note: "YuuKi-AnS" shares more information about the LGA-4710 socket, in addition to showcasing a platform called "Beechnut City," which is GNR-SP CPU compatible. Intel's Beechnut City is a dual-socket platform designed for upcoming data center processors based on the Granite Rapids-SP architecture.

After confirmation to YuuKi-AnS, the two "CPUs" in the "physical photo" are not GNR-SP, but TMTV (Thermal Mechanical Test Vehicle, only for thermal and mechanical design verification) of LGA 4710-2.
