Apple upgrades Shazam to recognize songs from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, July 7 (Xinhua)-- Apple recently upgraded the Shazam song listening and music recognition function to help users find and mark songs found in other apps.
Apple said Shazam now supports recognition of background music being played in apps such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
In the Shazam version update, Apple said that users only need to open Shazam, click the blue button, and then switch back to the app you are using.
The new version of Shazam can not only identify the song being played in other applications, but also mark the song and automatically add it to the Shazam playlist.
Apple acquired Shazam in 2018 and integrated it into iOS, macOS and watchOS systems. Currently, Shazam has more than 200 million monthly active users, making it one of the most popular music recognition services in the world.
