AI Help uses OpenAI's API to transmit prompt information to ChatGPT, and generative artificial intelligence should retrieve "the most relevant information" from MDN's comprehensive document repository.

However, the AI Help tool has been widely reviewed by developers since its launch, and most developers think that the tool often provides error messages and thinks that it is not as helpful as not having the feature.

A major volunteer developer of MDN (nickname sideshowbarker) has promised to solve these problems.
