The source said that to buy Apple's Vision Pro headset, you need to make an appointment and customize the appropriate accessories.

CTOnews.com July 7, Bloomberg today released a report revealing some of the Apple Vision Pro headsets being planned for Apple's retail division.

▲ Apple's official website report claims that Vision Pro will only be purchased by appointment "at least at the launch stage," which will ensure that customers buy Vision Pro with the right size headband and Light Seal. As a result, this is expected to be Apple's "most complex" promotion ever in terms of logistics.

In addition, Apple will set aside an area in stores dedicated to demonstrating headsets and "tailoring" for users to choose the right headsets and accessories. Apple will offer headband and Light Seal in a variety of size.

If customers want to buy multiple Vision Pro headsets, Apple retail stores also need to have a large inventory of trial products, spare parts, and even lens inventory. According to rough estimates from Bloomberg, Apple retail stores may need hundreds or thousands of lenses in stock.

All of these factors make it difficult to sell Vision Pro in third-party retail stores. Apple does not expect to open up the Vision Pro to third-party retail outlets until at least 2025, the report said.

As for how to get your favorite Vision Pro online, Apple is developing a face scanning app that helps users choose the Light Seal size that fits their face, according to the news.

Before checking out, users will also need to upload their own facial scans and provide their own prescription for farsightedness/myopia in order to purchase insertion lenses that can correct vision.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Vision Pro will be sold exclusively in the United States, followed by expansion to other countries and regions by the end of 2024.
