Meta explains the Logo meaning of Threads: it represents the user name, individual, and voice

Yesterday, Mosseri issued an article to introduce the Logo meaning of Threads. He said that Threads's Logo is derived from the classic Internet symbol "@" and represents someone's user name, individual independence and voice. The Logo interprets the "@" as an uninterrupted line inspired by the loop that occurs when a thread (thread) starts.

It is worth mentioning that the Logo lines are not hand-drawn by the artist, but are based on Instagram's own font Instagram Sans, which is designed in a shape between a circle and a square, which makes Threads's Logo look like a "somewhat square circle".
