CTOnews.com July 10 news, TSMC today released revenue figures for June 2023: combined, the revenue of the camp in June 2023 was about NT $156.4 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 36.128 billion yuan), down 11.4% from May 2023 and 11.1% from June 2022.

From January to June 2023, TSMC's revenue totaled NT $989.47 billion (currently about NT $228.568 billion), down 3.5 per cent from the same period in 2022.

TSMC's May income was 176.54 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 40.781 billion yuan), down 4.9% from a year earlier and up 19.4% from a month earlier.

Liu Deyin, chairman of TSMC, said at TSMC's annual shareholders' meeting on June 6 that the company's customer inventory is gradually decreasing and end-market demand is picking up. Although there is a little negative growth, TSMC is ready for the next wave of good growth next year and will continue to create maximum value for shareholders.

Wei Zhijia, CEO of TSMC, expects TSMC revenue to fall 10 per cent in the first half of the year compared with the same period last year, while the second half of the year will be better than the first half.

Earlier, it was reported that TSMC had started preparatory work for the trial production of 2nm, aiming to trial-produce nearly 1,000 pieces this year and widen the gap with competitors such as Samsung and Intel. Based on its technical advantages, TSMC is planning to increase the quotation for advanced processes from January next year, and has communicated with a number of customers, including Apple, MediaTek, AMD, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Broadcom.
